About Monticello
Monticello, Missouri was founded in 1833 and is near Hannibal, Missouri, and Quincy, Illinois. The population is 104 as of 2020 and is the county seat of Lewis County, making it the smallest county seat in Missouri. The village has one of the few remaining courthouses in Missouri dating from the 1870's.

Monticello Community Park
Our beautiful park is equipped with a walking track, sand volleyball court, basketball court, playground, and swings. The park is located on Washington Street in Monticello.
Help keep our park beautiful and thriving by making a donation. Tax deduction receipts available upon request. Drop a check in the drop box at City Hall today!
Park Rules
Please pick up any trash during your time at the park. Leave the park better than you found it!
All trash cans must be emptied and trash bags replaced after your event/reservation.
